So... remember how last month I extolled the virtues of Wendy and Lacey as pure examples of how The Middleman so totally passes The Bechdel Test?
NPR very much agrees.
Turns out one of the NPR editors saw me (or someone like me—I'm hardly the first or only to note the awesomeness that is Wendy and Lacey's friendship in the blogsphere) journaling about MM and The Rule, and it got the whole office talking about the Rule, and why and how it resonates with viewers. So she assigned the story to one of her writers, and lo, we now have the Morales Rule.
