Less than a week before my 29th birthday, and I found my first white hair this morning. It was pure white, about an inch and a half long, and coarse and wirey, almost like plastic doll hair. I thought it was a cat hair I'd somehow gotten in my hair. Imagine my surprise when I realised it was attached. Was being the operative word.
